To ensure the Gallery's collection, including new acquisitions items are carefully stored and preserved to international best practice standards. Fixtures, fittings and storage solutions for works of art, including crates, Solander boxes for unframed works of art on paper, shelving and racking systems etc. Solutions are developed for individual works as required.
Why This Project Matters
Arts and cultural infrastructure enriches city life and draws visitors. This $8.2M investment is part of the council's programme to maintain world-class cultural venues for Central residents.
