Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is a managed and hosted computing solution containing four core services: data centre services, utility compute services (such as virtualisation of services), storage and back-up services.

This is a $516K corporate & it project across Christchurch, currently in progress.

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is a managed and hosted computing solution containing four core services: data centre services, utility compute services (such as virtualisation of services), storage and back-up services. IaaS can be contracted through All of Government or procured separately. Council hosts servers (both virtual and physical) with Computer Concepts currently. With Cloud services becoming more available, and solutions being able to be moved to modern infrastructure, it is time for Council to consider options when adding new solutions or upgrading existing solutions.
