Delivery of library asset and component replacement and refurbishment plans. This comprises the replacement and renewal of various building elements and fixtures and fittings including: automatic doors, building utilities, carpark and landscape, fire systems, floor coverings, furniture, library resources (books, serials, etc.), HVAC, kitchens, refurbishment, lifts and escalators, roof renewal, security signage, toilets, windows, land.
Why This Project Matters
Arts and cultural infrastructure enriches city life and draws visitors. This $20.6M investment is part of the council's programme to maintain world-class cultural venues for all Christchurch residents.
