Delivery Package - Public Transport Bus Priority Electronic Installations
PT electronic installations to assist in delivering priority for PT. The proposed scheme provides a method of electronic notification of a bus approaching a traffic signal intersection to allow the signal to either extend the green time or to trip the signal to move more quickly to green time.

PT electronic installations to assist in delivering priority for PT. The proposed scheme provides a method of electronic notification of a bus approaching a traffic signal intersection to allow the signal to either extend the green time or to trip the signal to move more quickly to green time. This would assist in bus priority on the core Public Transport Corridors and is complimentary with the bus priority projects.

Transport infrastructure keeps Christchurch moving and safe. This project is part of the council's programme to maintain and improve roads, paths, and public spaces for all Christchurch residents.
