Develop or purchase land for Neighbourhood Parks to meet levels of service in Activity Plans. Budget is used for land purchases when the land becomes available either through the subdivision process or on the open market and through a Sale and Purchase Agreement. The area for Catchment 4 is shown in the Development Contributions Policy.
Why This Project Matters
Parks and green spaces are central to Christchurch's liveability and identity. This project is part of the council's programme to maintain and improve public spaces for Banks Peninsula residents.
