The Nor'West Arc Te Ara O-Rakipaoa cycleway provides a safer route for cyclists to get to school, university, work and local shops. This project is for one of the three sections of this cycleway, and runs along Ilam Road, from the University of Canterbury to Aorangi Road, near Jellie Park. The cycleway will eventually extend to Harewood Road.
