Renewal of the Onawe Flat Road timber bridge (A105) and associated works to enable the traffic of more than Class 1 vehicles over the bridge.
This is a $5K transport project across Christchurch, currently in progress.
Renewal of the Onawe Flat Road timber bridge (A105) and associated works to enable the traffic of more than Class 1 vehicles over the bridge. The bridge is the only access route to the Barry's Bay transfer station, and it is a key piece of work to enable access for the Barrys Bay Site Redevelopment project and the Barrys Bay Landfill Remediation project to progress.
Why This Project Matters
Transport infrastructure keeps Christchurch moving and safe. This project is part of the council's programme to maintain and improve roads, paths, and public spaces for all Christchurch residents.
