A range of capital works to break the current water supply zones up into smaller more manageable zones, and a reduction in water pressure in some of those zones. Involving new and upgraded water supply reticulation, control works, valves and pump station upgrades.
Why This Project Matters
Clean, safe drinking water is a basic right. This project is part of the council's programme to maintain and improve the water supply network, meeting national standards for all Christchurch residents.
