Southshore and South New Brighton Estuary Edge Erosion Management (Red Zone Regeneration)
This project addresses two separate but geographically connected issues in South New Brighton and on the Southshore peninsula: 1) estuary edge erosion issues and; 2) construction of a new bund to tackle local inundation.
This is a $4.7M parks & environment project in Coastal, Christchurch, currently in progress.
Why This Project Matters
Parks and green spaces are central to Christchurch's liveability and identity. This $4.7M investment is part of the council's programme to maintain and improve public spaces for Coastal residents.
