Urban Forest Implementation - Phase 1

The growth of our urban forest requires an increase in tree planting across the city.

This is a $832K parks & environment project across Christchurch, currently in progress.

The growth of our urban forest requires an increase in tree planting across the city. We have set targets to increase canopy cover throughout the district across all land use types. If we meet these targets, we would have a city-wide canopy cover of >20% by 2070.
