Comprehensive condition assessment of 25 reservoirs or suction tanks, to carry out internal inspections. The repairs are required in order to bring the reservoirs within the Demonstrably Safe criteria, with this scope up to an acceptable standard in line with drinking water standards of New Zealand and the CCC water safety plan.
Why This Project Matters
Clean, safe drinking water is a basic right. This project is part of the council's programme to maintain and improve the water supply network, meeting national standards for all Christchurch residents.
