The pump station suction tank was destroyed in the earthquake and had temporary tanks installed to reinstate the site during the earthquake recovery period.

The pump station suction tank was destroyed in the earthquake and had temporary tanks installed to reinstate the site during the earthquake recovery period. This project is to remove the old tank and build a permanent replacement tank.

Why This Project Matters

Clean, safe drinking water is a basic right. This project is part of the council's programme to maintain and improve the water supply network, meeting national standards for Spreydon-Cashmere residents.
