Currently the pressure sewer monitoring is procured as a service from South East Water in Australia with quite high operating costs. This candidate is to look to recreate the system on premise to reduce operational costs and better integrate the pressure sewer network with the gravity network to allow for smart interfacing and controls.
Why This Project Matters
Reliable wastewater infrastructure protects public health and the environment. This project is part of the council's long-term programme to maintain and upgrade the below-ground network serving all Christchurch residents.
