WW Smart Overflow Reduction
To develop and deploy a smart overflow surcharger in Pump Station 53 catchment, which will be fully monitored in order to measure the impact of wet weather overflows at the Grassmere overflow site.
This is a $286K water & waste project across Christchurch, currently in progress.

Reliable wastewater infrastructure protects public health and the environment. This project is part of the council's long-term programme to maintain and upgrade the below-ground network serving all Christchurch residents.
